This year’s Hudson City Council election has become contentious. Amanda Weinstein continues talking about the need for civility after being called out for campaigning and fundraising at a fundraiser for the Inclusive Playground. Her husband State Senator Casey Weinstein also is involved in Amanda’s divisive campaign. He filed a police report on September 3rd against someone who made a comment on Facebook about how Amanda doesn’t have many campaign signs.
While many of us understand the importance of Freedom of Speech, the Weinsteins don’t appear to understand that includes people who are critical of them. Clocktower Files previously wrote about how the Weinsteins participated in the doxing of his constituents. Now, they are involving the police because someone hurt their feelings by pointing out something that is rather benign.
Even though the Weinsteins have repeatedly put their address on social media and campaign invitations, Clocktower Files blocked out their address in the police report below.

At about 1636 on 9/3/25, a 43-year-old man called Casey Weinstein reported to the Hudson Police that he’d see an alarming post on his Facebook page. Apparently, a 63-year-old Salesville man called XXXX, who has reportedly expressed dislike for Weinstein on previous occasions, posted a “selfie” photograph featuring himself with an Amanda Weinstein campaign yard sign behind him, with a caption reading “I think somebody has told a big fib little buddy…… I drove up and down all these streets and only found one amanda weinstein sign…. Well actually two if you count the one in front of your house”.
The Weinsteins are so allergic to basic criticism regarding campaign signs that Casey filed a police report. If Amanda is elected to office, that will be two Weinsteins abusing their power.
