State Senator Casey Weinstein has a history of filing police reports against people for criticizing him online. Earlier last month, Clocktower Files reported that Weinstein filed a police report when a man stated Amanda Weinstein didn’t have many signs up for her Council bid. A reader emailed a tip that there was police body cam footage of Senator Weinstein making the police report. A public records request provided that video footage.
Constituents shared concerns with Clocktower Files about the hypersensitive lawmaker. He whips up his online mob against people who are critical of him. As we previously reported, he and his wife Amanda have participated in the doxing of constituents. While the Weinsteins have a history of filing police reports against those critical of them, this is the first one we are aware with body camera footage.
In the report, Weinstein mentions that the Stow Law Director said the same person has threatened the Mayor of Stow. A public records request for police reports filed against this man in Stow came up empty. There are none.
Weinstein also mentions that his Chief of Staff is tracking incendiary language against him on social media. Perhaps the Chief of Staff should discuss with Weinstein how he shouldn’t call people Nazis and fascists for being critical of him. His hypocrisy also extends to his tweet below. A transgender mass shooter killed three 9 year old children and three adults at Covenant School in Nashville less than a month before this tweet.
Clocktower Files would like to thank Hudson Police for being professional in the video below. This is a precarious situation for any officer since Weinsteins are known for manufacturing conflict and division, Weinstein filed the police report and as mentioned by the officer, someone from Weinstein’s office also called the police regarding a protest outside of his house even though there wasn’t a protest. Again, this video was from a public records request.
Now that Amanda Weinstein has won a seat on Hudson Council, brace yourself for this behavior to be duplicated against critics.
