Amanda and Casey Weinstein are trying to discredit mailers that were sent to Hudson residents highlighting the council candidate’s comments at a Rotary meeting. Meanwhile, a quick Twitter search shows multiple comments from Amanda Weinstein advocating for higher density housing (even here in Hudson) and the abolition of the mortgage interest deduction that would immediately increase most taxes on most Hudson residents.
A year after Hudson voters rejected increasing housing density in Phase 2, Weinstein tweeted about her support of the failed plan. As the mailers mentioned, Weinstein also mentioned the need for higher density housing in her 2023 Hudson Rotary Speech.
She even discussed high density housing on her podcast where Casey was a guest.
Amanda Weinstein believes opposing higher density housing in Hudson is a dog whistle for racism. Perhaps, people just don’t want an increase in added resources and additional traffic.

There are many more relevant tweets in @ProfWeinstein’s Twitter account. She has tweeted over 12,000 times. These comment don’t match the current political rhetoric she is using to get elected. Amanda Weinstein’s own tweets and her Rotary speech (which is highlighted in the mailers) show us what she isn’t telling voters.
