A video on Hudson Ward 1 Councilwoman Patricia Goetz’s Council page hasn’t aged well and completely contradicts her current support of Nicole Kowalski.
Goetz asks in her video, “I am asking the Citizens of Hudson, are you willing to have someone on City Council who is willing to break one of our laws?”(You can watch it and comment on Goetz’s Facebook page by clicking here)
The irony here is that when Goetz made this comment she was on stage with Sarah Norman. They both were running for Council at the time. The issue was that during her campaign for City Council Norman solicited donations that exceeded the City’s campaign finance limits; in order to try to challenge the law. Goetz was vehemently opposed to having someone on council who breaks the law. But, today her support for Nicole Kowalski is unwavering even after Kowalski was caught illegally sharing privileged documents.
Apparently, Goetz wants different laws and rules for her friends and allies.
